Accommodating Song Jiang’s father in Yuncheng, the Court of Father Song comprises front and back yards, and left and right wings. The design represents a typical middle- and lower-echelon official’s residence of the Song Dynasty. The scenes of “Song Jiang hastening home for the funeral of his father” were shot here. As the story has it, on the run-away trip to the Mount Liangshan with Hua Rong and Qin Ming, Song Jiang returns to Yuncheng County after receiving the news that his father has died. It turns out that his father has faked his death to lure him back lest he falls into bad company. The local authorities immediately arrest Song and put him on trial for murdering Yan Poxi.

Visitors to the court can see the scenes of the TV series and can also have a photo taken with the model playing Father Song.
